Douglas Esper is an author from Cleveland, Ohio. He was inspired, by a painting he purchased from artist Jeff Fernengel, to create Sammy's Birthday Surprise. While not working on children's material, Douglas, can be found working on music with his band, or pecking away at his debut novel. Douglas also enjoys spending time with his wife and two black lab dogs.
